For those unfamiliar with Board Game Arena (BGA), it's a website where you can find the digital version of any board game and play online with anyone worldwide!
We have wanted to start a partnership with BGA for a long time, and D.E.I. seemed to us from the start to be the perfect game to take full advantage of the potential of this platform.
D.E.I. is coming on Board Game Arena!
D.E.I. on BGA will take advantage of all the features of the platform, such as automatic setup, automation of mechanics and scoring, the ability to challenge many fans around the world in real-time and turn-based games, as well as something we like, the ability to organize tournaments, leagues, and seasons.
At the moment, the D.E.I. Core Game porting is in the Alpha testing phase, but its development is already well advanced, and we will soon be able to give you a date for its official release.

Big Box Survey

Hello, Survivors!
It's been a while since we've been here on this page, but we'd like to share an initiative that may be of interest to you.
During the Gamfound Campaign for the D.E.I. Reprint and the new Faith & Anarchy expansion, many fans expressed a desire to have a BIG BOX to store all of the existing Divide et Impera material (Core Box, Stretch Goals, and Expansions) in one place. Despite that we had not planned this option, we have chosen to look into the idea of including it as a new add-on in the Gamefound Campaign Pledge Manager, which will open shortly.
We worked with the factory to make a design to submit to the community and get an idea of how many people would be interested in purchasing it once we knew its price and shipping cost.
The D.E.I. Big Box is designed to make the setup of the game easier, but not just that!
The box will have an elegant texture on all sides, plus a special lid to easily access all contents.
The size of the box should be about 36x31x29 cm (final dimensions may vary a bit). You can store everything published for this game in a single box!
It will include 12 smaller boxes, to store the game components for each faction of D.E.I. Divide et Impera, included the factions from the expansions.
Each Drone will have a dedicated slot in a plastic tray. Now all drones will have a place where to be stored safely.
A dedicated cardboard tray will host all the assembled 3D Buildings. You will no longer have to assemble them at the beginning of each game!
All game tiles can be stored together, in a different plastic tray. You will be able to easily pick the tiles you need to set up your games!
The Big Box can be used for both the Meeple version and the Miniature version of D.E.I.

To understand how many people could be interested, we are asking you to participate in this survey and let us evaluate if the number of requests would be enough to make this feasible.
The cost of the D.E.I. Big Box should be 59 EUR, plus about 10 EUR for extra shipping fees, depending on the destination.
If enough people are interested, we will offer this option as an add-on in the upcoming pledge manager of D.E.I. Divide et Impera.

Hello, Survivors!
The big day has arrived! The new expansion of Divide et Impera: Faith & Anarchy is live and already Funded on Gamefound!
This new expansion lets you play two of D.E.I.'s most controversial factions: the followers of the Cult of Crono and the untamed Breachers.
The former has risen from the ashes of an ancient religion. At a time when every living being seeks hope for survival, this new and inclusive faction is rapidly gaining momentum.
Their worship is said to be lost in the origin of time, but traces of its passage can be found in every age. Crono, their god, helps and guides them toward rebirth and toward the future.
The latter, the Breachers, are considered outcasts and outlawed as anarchists. They are singled out as those who unleashed the White Death, playing with infrastructure beyond their abilities.
Before the White Death, they unknowingly entered the database of an alien spaceship destined for terraforming, unleashing a new ice age.
They now fight the system imposed by the Purebred seeking redemption.

Lastly, the icing on the cake, the Cult of Crono can be used in Solo mode, with the Automa system introduced in the White Death expansion with the Fauns Faction, introducing new rules to represent the peculiarities of this new "Automa" Faction.
Everyone who chooses any of the 3 Rewards during the campaign will receive the Candy Boost pack for free!
12 New Market cards: 3 new and exclusive Market cards for each of the four Markets in the Core Game, to increase the variety of your games!
12Leader Rings: miniatures of D.E.I. Faction Leaders can be placed in these semi-transparent plastic rings so they can be easily identified on the game map!
10Faction Reference Sheets: these handy sheets contain the rules of every single Faction currently available. They will be very useful for keeping the rules of the faction you are playing at hand at all times, without the need to consult the rulebooks
If you missed one or more Expansions during the KS Campaign, with this Gamefound campaign you will have the opportunity to catch up with the ones you are missing! In fact, it will be possible to purchase each Expansion individually.
In addition, those who chose the meeple version of D.E.I. will be able to upgrade the Core Box and each individual Expansion with miniatures thanks to Miniature Packs!
Each Miniature Pack will contain miniatures of a single box; so if, for example, you only own the Core Box in the meeple version, you only need to buy the Core Box Miniature Pack, and you too will have your fair share of miniatures! If, on the other hand, you want miniatures from a single Expansion such as Cash & Rads, purchasing the Cash & Rads Miniature Pack will do the trick!
Finally, you have more than one good reason for a new journey through the streets of Old London!
The document is divided into several sections, one for each box, thus including the Core Box and all expansions.
Each section is divided into two parts: the Errata, which corrects and better explains some of the steps of the Rulebooks; and the FAQ, which provides clarification on game situations that may cause questions during a game.
We have collected your suggestions and directions, trying to include all the ones needed. Soon, we will also create a special topic in the Forums section on BoardGameGeek's D.E.I. page, where you can let us know if anything is missing and where we can collect any new suggestions, which we will then integrate regularly. Thank you very much for your ever valuable contributions!!
Another important report: following your feedback and further playtesting by us, we have also made a balance change on the Zion Drone Skill from the Cash & Rad expansion. The old skill could lead to situations that are too advantageous for the player applying it, so we chose to rewrite it to make it more balanced and more clear.
Now you may select an Opponent with at least 1 Unit in the same Region where Zaius ends its movement. Then you choose one Market Action Card on the Opponent Faction Pad and copy the effect on that card. We included it in the FAQ document and in the new version of Cash & Rad rulebook.
All Errata and balance changes have already been integrated directly into the online Rulebooks, which you can always find in our web app, in the rules section of D.E.I. All English versions of the Rulebooks have been updated to version 1.3.
At the moment we can only publish the English version of all this material, so the Errata fixes mainly refer to this version, while the FAQ and Zion balancing also apply to the ITA, FRA, GER, and ESP versions, although the document has not yet been translated.
We are very happy to see that D.E.I. is gaining a lot of success among players! It has currently achieved an excellent rating of 7.8 on BGG. If you have not yet done so, you can leave your rating to introduce D.E.I. to new players!
Alex from BoardgameCo. was also very positively impressed with the game. He posted a fantastic gameplay video of a 3- player game, and named D.E.I. currently as one of the best games of the year!
From our end, these confirm what we have always thought, regarding the quality and potential of this game. We fully intend to continue promoting and supporting D.E.I., and these updates (as well as the special Christmas mission published in Update #50) are just the first step...
What are we talking about?
We're talking about a great news! D.E.I. Divide et Impera will be online again, with a brand new miniature expansion: "Faith & Anarchy"!
On March 28 we will launch a new campaign on Gamefound, where you will also have the chance to get a reprint of the English miniature version (not available for Retail). Many of you asked for a "Miniature Pack" for the meeple version, we are happy to announce that you will find it in the Gamefound Campaign too. The meeple version of Faith & Anarchy will be launched later directly in Retail.
We will reveal more during the next few days, make sure to follow the Gamefound Campaign to discover more and stay updated!
